My New Music Discovery
Sebenernya gue dulu tuh suka banget nyari-nyari musik yang baru, yang menurut gue fresh di kuping gue, yang jarang ada di media arus utama (sedap). Dan sayang sekali sekarang stasiun radio kabarnya sudah tidak mau lagi menyetel musik-musik arus samping (dulu kan perbandingannya itu mainstream x indie, atau major x indie, sekarang jadi mainstream x sidestream yah…udah bukan indie lagi berarti?).
Dulu kalau nyari musik-musik seperti itu biasanya ke last.fm atauĀ Myspace. Sekarang gue dah gak pernah ngeliat Myspace lagi, karena sejak Myspace berubah ke bentuk yang baru, entah kenapa gue dah gak bisa lagi log in ke akun pribadi dan akun golongan…eh akun musik gue, di mana gue “mengendalikan” beberapa akun musik band gue, side project, dan proyek musiknya teman gue hehehe.
Sekarang biasanya gue mencari di soundcloud, atau nyetel 8tracks punya orang, atau dari Nokia music radio. Nah semalem itu random banget sih nemunya. Berawal dari Reniy ngepost di fbnya tentang “28 EMOTIONAL TWEETS ABOUT THE HIMYM FINALE:Ā FROM CAST & CREW”, lalu gue menemukan twitnya si Josh Radnor:
